Aaron is CEO and a Co-Founder of Exploration, a rights administration company representing over $4bn worth of music publishing and master rights. In addition to overall strategy at Exploration, Aaron is responsible for finance, marketing, business development, and software development. Additionally, Exploration has consulted on over $1bn worth of rights transactions.

Aaron is also Founder and CEO of Business Frame, an accounting firm specializing in music valuation and finance. Business Frame has provided valuation services for over 100 catalogs.

Aaron has also co-authored How the Music Business Works, a textbook utilized widely across the industry.

Miles is Founder and President of Music Rights Group, an advisory firm specializing in the brokerage of music rights. In addition to brokerage, MRG provides industry-leading consulting services encompassing catalog valuations, legal and financial due diligence, and music copyright.

Miles has also worked as an adjunct law professor, teaching The Music Publishing Industry at Southwestern Law School.

John Baldi

John Baldi has been a creative music publishing veteran since the early 1980’s, most recently working as Head of Catalog Marketing and A&R for Round Hill Music. He started with Bug Music and after two years moved to run the creative department at Arista/BMG Publishing. Seven years later he was hired to be the VP of Creative/A&R at PolyGram-Island Music Publishing. During his nine-year tenure, John signed and/or worked with Beastie Boys, k.d. Lang, Lyle Lovett, Pearl Jam, Michael Franti, Bootsy Collins, The Corrs, Tom Waits and many more.

In 2005 Baldi was hired by Concord Music Group to run their licensing and publishing departments. He played an integral role in marketing Concord’s deep master and publishing catalogs, Stax, Fantasy, Rounder, plus Hear Music’s heritage signings new release and re-issue program for; Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Carole King, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Elvis Costello and Sia. John also executive produced several award-winning Soundtrack and Score albums for the label. He worked closely with various Stax artists in a hugely successful, pro-active master sampling program.
